The trumpeter is the most valuable symbol of all, offering up to 5,000 credits for each coin wagered if you can hit five in a row.
There are plenty of special symbols in the game as well. A microphone serves as the wild symbol, appearing on the center three reels to help finish off winning combinations. There’s also a scatter symbol – the jazz club logo – that allows players to win large prizes based on the size of their initial bet.
If you should hit three or more of those scatter symbols, you’ll also gain access to the game’s bonus round: the Jazz Solo Bonus. In this game, players must choose between any of the three soloists to gain access to various free spin modes in which the soloist of their choice appears in place of the other two. Choose the trumpeter, and you’ll get ten free spins – but with the added benefit of his big wins being much more likely, since he’ll take up all the soloist spots.
