There are already 42 land based gambling venues operated under the brand Fair Play owned by the Janshen-Hahnraths Group, with locations across the Netherlands. The online gaming site for Fair Play brands is expected to launch this summer after a license was received. The online gaming site will be under the regulation of the Malta Gaming Authority.
Under the agreement, Fair Play Online will be using a suite with real money gaming options that will include Microgaming slot games. Players will be able to log online and enjoy a long list of casino gaming options, all of which will be supplied by Mediatech Solutions.
Mediatech Solutions Founder and CEO, Jessica Ordovas, commented on the agreement with the Fair Play brand by stating that the extensive land based heritage of Fair Play across the Netherlands, the brand will see the same success as well as popularity online. The brand will be able to do so by using the Mediatech Solutions’ products and provide their online customers with a gaming experience that is nothing short of world-class.
The CEO further stated that with the gaming regulations that have been newly introduced in the Netherlands, the partnership has been an important part of her strategy for the company to expand. Mediatech Solutions has begun to heavily invest in the online gambling market of the Netherlands and feel that their efforts will bring about several benefits once the new legislation of the country is in its final version, completed and published.
Just last month, it was announced that a Mediatech Solutions majority stake was acquired by R. Franco Group, a land based company of the gaming industry. This means that two major players in the online and land-based gaming market of Spain are now working together to provide operators of gambling services with a quality selection of gaming options.
With the new agreement with R. Franco, the company integrated the IRIS gaming platform along with the 1,500 games that Mediatech Solutions powers. Both companies have agreed to keep the headquarters in Madrid where it was originally.
Partnerships and agreements continue to extend to various countries around the world as land based gaming operators begin to see the potential that online gaming can bring. Legislators are also starting to see how online gaming can be of benefit in a monetary value as well as for the protection of players.
In countries where online gambling is prohibited, gaming is still taking place. Offshore sites that are not regulated are earning millions as players log on and compete with their favorite casino games. However, this is not safe as there are no regulations in place to care for player money. With regulations in place, players can rest assured that they are not at risk for enjoying online game play.
For now, it will be interesting to watch as the relationship between Mediatech Solutions and Fair Play blossoms and if players in the Netherlands respond to the online casino gaming options. It would not be surprising to see a surge as players log online to take advantage of the new online casino gaming site.
